Lee Upshaw

Chief Executive Officer

Lee Upshaw attended Middle Georgia College and the University of Kentucky. Following his father’s footsteps, Lee signed with the Atlanta Braves Organization, where he pitched from 1987 to 1995 until a shoulder surgery ended his career but brought him to his new passion, construction and serving others.

After Lee retired from baseball, he worked with two multi-family renovation companies in the Southeast. Both specialized in large capital projects and were completed on time and under budget. During this time, Lee saw that the industry was falling short. Lee made the courageous leap to break away and start his own company . His aim: to better the customer service and quality of construction for management companies around the Southeast.

Since Lee has found a recipe for success, he has decided to start and grow a new company here in Florida – AmEuro Construction. We see that communication and honesty are two qualities that this industry lacks. From those holding assistant positions to the founder himself, here at AmEuro, these characteristics are highly emphasized. “This is the foundation of our company.”

Lee is married to Sheila, his wife of 18 years and, has one daughter, Savannah and two Shih-tzus, Charlie and Lilly Kate. When he is not in the office, he spends time with his family, attends church at First Sarasota and plays golf.
